Elstern Park is an Australian Asset Management business, focussed on delivering highly transparent, investor Managed Discretionary Account & Separately Managed Account services.
Approach
The Elstern Park approach captures allocations to key global macro themes, with a proven algorithmic strategy overlay, actively managing positions in global equities, on a dynamic, mathematically based long-short signal basis.
The Elstern Park model attributes a dedicated portion of fund allocations to the macro-resources segment, and the algorithmic segment separately, and makes adjustments to this allocation mix according to segment performance, AI overlays and macro-thesis adjustments as they arise.
Strategy
The algorithmic strategy overlay compliments the macro-minerals element by providing a proven, mathematical edge by applying proven algorithmic strategies across a range of global markets.
The combination of these approaches is designed to provide investors with a actively managed ‘anchor’ to their portfolio, while seeking to generate outperformance via careful and robust research and subsequent allocation into global investment opportunities within a rapidly expanding mineral and energy segment.
Thesis
The Elstern Park investment thesis seeks to capture significant out-performance across a range of strategies, with the dedicated macro theme element, focussed specifically on three key elements within the mining and resources space.
These targets are, EV/Battery technology and minerology, Precious Metals and Rare Earths.
Elstern Park has identified two primary streams of investment return as providing the greatest opportunity to deliver above-benchmark returns after fees while providing absolute transparency, accountability & overall liquidity for investors.
Our Strategy
Elstern Park Asset Management provides investors with access to three primary investment exposures. These are the Resources Fund, the Algorithmic Fund and the Macro Fund.
These investment exposures allow wholesale and sophisticated investors to allocate capital to a diversified, yet highly targeted and tested approach which has been developed with extensive consideration of macro-economic overlays and data-science, AI and machine-learning applications at the forefront
As the value of each allocation fluctuates, the Elstern Park team applies rigorous data analysis and oversight to adjust positions and overall exposures in line with the 70/30 model, with a view to maximising shareholding returns, while maintaining long-term NLV account appreciation.
